Week Blog Review-Week 17
This week was a great week in turns of having major scenarios causing me stress. Since the time I'm typing this is Sunday, I can remember only basic/major events of school week. For the school week, it was great despite the fact of my productively and motive to do work in advance slowly demising. Piano class throughout the week was very fun and rewarding as I master both In the Swing and Swaying Silver Birches; Unfortunately I had to practice In the Swing despite already knowing how to play the song because the teacher told us to practice the song and I really want the teacher to go in depth of how to play Dutch Dance. As a personal challenge for myself I will be trying to play there songs along with songs taught by the piano teacher. These songs are Song of Storms from Legend of Zelda, The Promise from Final Fantasy 13, and Memory from Undertale. In Geometry class over the school days I along with the class was taught the remaining sections of Chapter 4 and given a test of Chapter 4 to move on to the next one in the book; I passed the test which make me so glad since my grades was suffering a bit in the class. In Spanish II class for the week, the class and I did work for Chapter 3A. In English II class the class and I did usual journals, watched one author presentation, and discuss concepts of the current book we're reading: The Crucible(play format) by Arthur Miller. I already finished the book during a tournament I attended and will be rereading acts three and four. In P.E, volleyball matches throughout the whole five days. In US History class, we(the class and I) took notes on Reconstruction in the United States, took a test if I am remembering correctly and watched the last two episode of Roots. Oh, I will also mention that on Wednesday there was a blackout at my school that lasted from the last ten minutes of fifth period to the last six minutes of sixth period. I was shocked at first to see the lights at the gym turned off, and even more surprise that the black out effected the entire school. However, the situation was dealt with to the protest of many students who hoped for an early dismissal. In chemistry class, we did review of ionic and molecular compounds and did experiments on chemicals near the end of the week.
Extra Moments: This section will be dedicated to when I turn in a blog late and I still have interesting events that happen on Saturday. For example, this Saturday (yesterday) I went to my brother's wresting tournament which lasted from 9:00 a.m. to 6:30 a.m. While at some times of was a bit bored at times I did enjoyed the tournament. I just wished I brought some money to buy my own snacks instead for my dad buying the snacks for me. I also would like to note my sister made a sign for my brother's school and in my opinion it turned out great. In the end, my brother earn first place while his teammate on the wrestling team earned second place.

"This past week was slightly slower than usual. Perhaps the cause was the start of my Sociology 105 course at UIC"
