Week Blog Review-Week 18
This week for the most part was great with amazing memorable moments and new connections with people. In Piano, I practiced playing Dutch Dance, Swaying Silver Birches and the right hand of The Promise(Final Fantasy 13-Just a personal piece I want to learn before the school year end). I mastered Swaying Silver Birches and the left hand for Dutch Dance, it's becoming a bit difficult to play both the left and the right hand together. However, I do know how the song sound when played with both hands and eventually I would master the song. As for Thursday and Friday, I completed worksheets on writing and recognizing sharp and flat scales; To be honest, the worksheets was a bit boring to do. In Geometry, I practice using theorems about parallel lines to solve proofs involving diagrams with lines cut by a transversal. Thus far, I am having trouble being about to solve proofs with corresponding angles, alternative angles, and same-sides angles in diagrams with transversals not as obvious as other diagrams. In Spanish II, I complete assignments and a quiz on chapter 3A of the books the class and I work on. The quiz was very easy since for the first time I truly studied for the quiz and I believe I may have an A on the quiz. English II this week was just writing usual journals, taking a quiz for the unit of the week and discussing parts of The Crucible. While I have finished the book at my brother's wrestling tournament, I must reread acts three and four to remember every event in the acts again. In P.E, my team finally won a match this week making our record 1-23-our team flaws cost us many losses. On Friday, I spend fifth period in the swim bleachers because the girl's basketball team was being interviewed. United State History class was interesting for the most part as I took a test on Reconstruction (I passed with 98 percent right) and watched the third part of a three-part series on Chicago in the 1890s.I was disappointed at my self by not knowing anything about the female hero Janie Adams, the woman who opened the first settlement house in the worst neighborhood in Chicago at the time. Chemistry this week was not as interesting besides a lab experiment the class completed on Tuesday. Speaking of the days, I almost forgot Monday. I didn't do much on Monday.
