Week Blog Review-Week 19
This week had been filled with realizations, fun and disappointment. Piano this week was better than last week because my piano teacher arrived from New York on Tuesday, but couldn't make it on that day. Instead, she began teaching again on Wednesday; So glad she's back, she's the best piano teacher! The majority of this week for piano was just practicing Swaying Silver Birches, Dutch Dance, and Church Bells; The piano teacher tested the class on Swaying Silver Birches yesterday and I know I aced the test. I also showed some of the songs I wanted to master before the end of the school year which are Song of Storms from Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Memory from Undertale and The Promise from Final Fantasy 13; She played the first ten measures of the song to help me understand how the beginning of those songs should sound like. For Geometry class this week, my class and me learn properties of quadrilaterals and did review for the final coming up in the next week. I'm so behind in the final review packet, which is out of 38 questions and I'm only on 9. In Spanish II for the week, my class and I was taught more irregular verbs and learned how to do direct object in Spanish. The student teacher taught the class throughout the whole week and her Spanish is great, it's just that I'm terrible at hearing Spanish and knowing exactly what the person is saying. I believe I know how to use direct object now, I think. Anyway, to the next class. In English II, the class and I did journals, watch author presentations(finished most of them this week), and took a quiz on the Cask of Amontillado by Edgar Allan Poe. P.E this week was playing the final rounds of the championships and free time mixing players from other teams. I feel I would have liked playing volleyball more if I wasn't so concern about my teammates not trying to fix their flaws. United States History class this week was reviewing chapter 13 and small lecture on chapter 14. Finally, Chemistry throughout most of the week was doing chapter reviews for the incoming final, one of the chapters however proved very difficult; The chapter is chapter 5 and the problems the teacher assign involved naming or writing chemicals formulas. I'm also terrible at recognizing compounds as binary, ionic, covalent or polymantic compounds.
Extra: Yesterday (Friday) I went to my school's basketball game against another top school because the game was a fundraiser. Recently, one of the music teacher's daughter was diagnosed with a form of cancer and treating cancer can be very expensive. I was glad to help support the family, but I was so afraid the bleacher for my school would collapse from the weight of all the people on the bleacher at the same time. I stayed at the school to avoid having to come back just to leave just two hours later. I arrived to the gym at the second quarter of the J-V basketball game and stayed all the way to the end of the Varsity game. Both games lasted long because timer was stopped a lot due fouls and one minute time-outs. There were also three dance performance by my school's dance teams, two performances by my school's chorus, a performance by the advance guitar class, and a letter spoken by teammates of the girl who the fundraiser was for to her. In the end, my school won and the basketball team celebrated their victory.

Quote from her Blog
"This week has consisted of pure review. In every class, review. Trying to remember everything we did 2 months ago is really hard. Trying to cram a whole 5 months worth of work into one day, one test is the worst of the worst. What is it? FINALS."
