Week Blog Review-Week 27
This week was a great week, especially for Piano and Swimming. I had many great surprises this week and a extra day. Piano this week I finally got pass the first page of Mickey Mouse March. Celebrate! Well, I think I'll have something special for the 30th week, maybe a sneak peek or section of the stories I'm working on. Going back to Piano, I got to the second page of Mickey Mouse March and Whole New World too. Another surprise is I aced my Piano test on Marche slave. I love the song and practice when I gave up trying to understand playing Mickey Mouse March in frustration. Turns out that frustration paid off with a 94, which is an A in Chicago. Geometry was introducing similar triangles, their properties and how to prove triangles' similarity. There are a few problems on proving similarity or solving for x in problems involving similar triangles that I would have difficulty solving, but overall I think I could solve/proof any problem. Spanish this week was a test on the past tense and the imperfect before moving onto chapter 5A. English II this week was introducing the class's next book: Their Eyes Were Watching God. Thus far, as a class we read chapter 7 and we (my classmates and I) was assigned to read and annotate chapters 8-11. I'm a little behind on chapters because I didn't read chapter 5 and 6 when I was suppose to. Plan on getting caught up tomorrow. P.E was surprising this week because my class and I only had three days of swimming due to reasons. United States History was presenting presentations about the roaring twenties before playing kahoot! I think my partner and I has a great grade on our presentation because we had very little text, in fact the only text was the title. Finally, Chemistry was further lessons on mole and how to convert between grams, moles and molecules. I created equations on how to convert between each of them. Overall, great week and may add something special to 30th blog.

Week Blog Review(Week 26)
Week Blog Review-Week 26
Procrastinated on writing this, so I'll go straight into my weekend. Piano this week was a bit better with playing Mickey Mouse March, and A Whole New World. Great news is I master some of the songs in the books such as Marche Slave. Geometry this week was introducing ratios in geometry and solving proofs and word problems using ratios. Spanish this week was reviewing the difference between the past tense and the imperfect and when to use the tenses. English this week was completing notes for the Realism essay and discussing dialogue. P.E. this week was the first week of swimming, and I love it so far! A big shocker to me was some of the athlete students couldn't swim well, but I can't judge. Thus far the middle end, where I'm in, is learning how to kick across without stopping, to swim across with head underwater in intervals and the breaststroke. The breastroke reminds me of the frog, where you swims like a frog. United States History was reviewing information on the roaming twenties before moving onto chapter 22, which will be around the Great Depression. Finally, Chemistry was learning about mole. Also, I found out this week that I do not have to do the quote from my classes' blog, so that's the end of that. Overall, great week.

Dialogue #2
Dialogue #2: Winter
Entering the house, a young nature volunteer named Cindy walk her room and shut the door slowly to not wake up her older step-brother in the room next door. Henry, a volunteer of his own, caught the flu and now battling the virus. Cindy offered to buy more medicine and common food remedies, but Henry refused the offer. Now done with all her work at 6:00 p.m., Cindy walked to her calendar to see if any projects are due soon. Instead, making her guilt weigh more on her mind, she saw the next day will be the day of the Pentatonix’s concert. Henry was very ecstatic five month ago for the concert since it would have been his first experience of a concert, but now he was suffering under his bedsheets while his body found the flu. Cindy decided to read a book instead of watching tv.
~~~Flashback~~~
Yesterday, The step-siblings are at Navy Pier at nine o’clock at night.
“Come on! We’re going to miss the fireworks” Cindy semi-drags her brother by his arm through the crowds of people.
“No, I have to go Cindy. I shouldn’t be in the cold. I’m already sick” Henry tried to explain to his sister, before compressing a sneeze.
“It’ll be only fifteen minutes. Please!” Cindy begged. Henry shook his head.
“Please Henry. Okay, just ten minutes. The show is actually thirty minutes, but you can go after ten minutes” Cindy bargained. Henry signed and nodded. The sister dragged him to the closet hill to watch the firework display.
~~~~End of flashback~~~
Now Henry was sick, and she’ll never hear the end of it once he’s better. ~End~Week Blog Review(Week 25)
Week Blog Review-Week 25
This week was okay, with a few mishaps on my part. Piano this week was a bit stressful because the current song the class is practicing for the spring concert is difficult when playing both the right and left hand together. I also enjoyed Piano this week because I practiced on Marche Slave when I got bored trying to play Mickey Mouse March, and I loved the mood of the song. Marche Slave is played in a bit in the A minor, making the song sounds dark or depressing. Moving on to Geometry this week, the class and I learn more about solving word problems using formulas based around properties of polygons. I'm still having some trouble figuring out when to use certain formulas in word problems. Spanish this week was very frustrating because the student teacher decided on giving the class and I an assignment of writing one event from page of a four page story before writing a summary. The problem I with the assignment was half the words that was in the story was never taught to us and the students who so happens to not learnt Spanish early would have to translate almost every word before knowing exactly what was going on in the story. The story was Nataina y El hijo de Sol or Nataina and the sun of the son. It basically just a love story, and it took me half-an-hour to figure out what was happening in the story, another 30 minutes to write both the summary and the main events. English this week was not stressful, but I had been very lazy toward work in the class. In fact, I still need to finish the regret dialogue and put the paper on the blog. I'll complete the task once I'm done with this. P.E was fun, finally. The last team my team went against actually was the most honest team. The agreed on playoffs and did not do cheap shots like other teams. Untied States History this week was very informative as we was able to cover a lot of material this week. We covered World War I and information about life during the 1920s. Finally, Chemistry this week was identifying the types of reactions and balancing equations. Oh, by the way. I was extremely lazy Friday. Really need to stop that.

Week Blog Review(Week 24)
Week Blog Review-Week 24
This week had been an inspiring week with very few stresses, a very good week. In Piano this week, the class and I practiced our song for the spring concert, lullaby and etude. Oh! Right, the song my class is doing for the concert is Mickey Mouse March. It's sound easy, but it's actually hard to play the piano piece at least for me and the majority of my fellow classmates. Luckily, we're only playing the piano part and do not have to sing. Other songs are very easy and already mastered Church Bells and Lullaby. Geometry this week was discussing basic features of polygons such as triangles, heptagons and decagons. Spanish II is just reviewing how to congregate verbs for the past (el preteririe) and the imperfect (el imperfect), and when to apply the two terms. The student teacher taught us two phrases to use to remember when to use the past and the imperfect: SIMBA for the past and DARE TWO BU for the imperfect. In English II, my class and I are introduced to our next unit: Realism. During the week, my class took notes on the main ideas of realism, read and discuss questions about the story "The Celebrated Jumping Frog of Calaveras County" by Mark Twain, and discuss dialogue. Next week we will turn in a page of dialogue involving a 15-year-old character having some sort of regret and I already know who my character will be. P.E for the majority of the week was floor hockey, while Thursday was a pacing event. United States History this week was finishing chapter 17 to get to chapter 18, the chapter that discusses WWI. Lunch was normal. Finally, my chemistry class did absolutely nothing this week. Overall, a average week.
