Week Blog Review-Week 23
This week had gone much better than last week, but I can't remember a lot from this week. I can just sum up the main things I did in most of my classes, and a few special events of this week. For Piano this week, my class and I practice completing the walk to our pianos and playing our songs for the ensemble that occurred Thursday. I will not lie, I was nervous how I will do during the ensemble as I thought I would somehow messed up my group's part. If you're confused, I'll explain. This week was the Winter Concert/Piano Ensemble for all the piano students. All piano students are given a song to play in group, this includes beginning piano in which I'm in this year. For my period, we were split into two groups and my group played melodies 8 and 9. My group did great, and the other groups did great too. The immediate students played more complex pieces and duets while the advance students displayed advance pieces. Of course, some things could have been done better such as gathering all the beginning and immediate students five minute earlier to avoid many students having to come through the top left door while the advance students were playing. Overall, the ensemble was great to be participate in. As for Geometry, I gotten no where in being able to complete proofs using properties of quadrilaterals. Worse, my class and I are starting with a new chapter which will involve incorporating the properties of quadrilaterals to complete the new proofs. My geometry teacher also introduce a new project, building mousetraps out of flashcards, rubber bands and tape. Don't know why we're doing this, especially since we're focusing on proofs more than geometric figures. Moving on to Spanish, just basically review and work on chapter 4A. English II this week was finishing my transcendentalism project for me. P.E was floor hockey, and my team finally scored on Thursday after three losses. United States History was very interesting this week as we had a field trip! The field trip was modeling actual union and management negations with people who in unions or help in these compromises or debates between unions and managements. I skips third period to eighteen period because of the field trip, which I am not bother by a lot. My only concerns it doing review for the Spanish II test on Monday and completing instructions for the mouse trap project for Geometry. Chemistry was just balancing equations before doing a lab on Thursday.
