Week Blog Review(Week 21)

Week Blog Review-Week 21

This week is much better than last week, despite a few disappointing moments. First, I would to point out that I have an B on my Geometry exam! Confetti everyway! I was so worry about the Geometry final, and I could have receive an A on the exam if I remembered to bring in the final exam review packet in. Moving on to my week, which was great overall. In Piano, my class and I are prepping for our school's piano concert which will be coming soon. The class is split into two groups and each group plays a total of three songs (can change). Each group is assigned a conductor who will guide the tiempo of the song and have the group play in unison. I master the songs I am going to play, and now it's a bit boring to just practice the song, except when the conductor is guiding the tiempo. Need to get better at matching my tiempo to the conductor's tiempo. Plus, I'm 1/3 of the way of mastering the right hand for Song of Storms, from the game Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. In Geometry, the class and I learn more about using properties of quadrilaterals to solve proofs and questions. We also had a quiz on Friday, which I know I will have a 4 out of 6 because I didn't know how to do problem 4 and problem 6. In Spanish II, we did work for chapter 4A and took a test on Friday on the chapter. We also was taught by the student teacher who I wish would speak more in English. I know it's a honors Spanish II class, but it's a Spanish II class. It doesn't help that I am terrible at hearing and understanding Spanish. In English, the class and I learn about Transdentalism, read stories created by Transdentalists, and began working on the ideas of Dialogue. I'm excited about working on Dialogue because I love writing and reading stories in my free time. However, it's nice to learn about the concept of dialogue since it will help me improve on my writing. In P.E, the gym teacher taught us the basic concept and maneuvers for floor hockey before having us practice moving, passing and shooting the puck. On Friday, we (the class and I) did a test of moving the puck around cones and I think I did okay. I also realized that one of my friends in the class is actual a great friend for also being there for me when I look my worst. To United States History, we completed work on Chapter 17 of our books before going on chapter 18. In chemistry, we just worked on balancing chemical formulas.
