Week Blog Review-Week 20
This week was finals and I know I will not be the only one to say this. I HATE THIS WEEK! This week was the worst week I had at high school thus far. The week was only terrible because I did not focus on all my class evenly, and overestimated myself too many times. Let's begin with Monday, aka realization day before the storm. On Monday, I struggled to finished a review packet for Geometry that I started last Friday due to procrastination. I managed to not finish the packet during Geometry, and this is where the stress began. From there, the rest of the day until fifth period felt terrible. During fifth period, it turns out that terms was due to be turned in and guess what. I was so focused on trying to finished the geometry final exam paper that I forgot about the terms. I did nothing during that period and didn't play at all, sitting at the sidelines in a messy pool of sadness. Figuratively of course, just felt too furious and disappointed at myself to let myself push the anger away through play. The only reason I wasn't angry throughout the entire day because in sixth period the class did a kahoot, and I almost got into the top five. Another reason was my best friend was there, having her in my proximity help with my anger. Seventh and eighth period was me being in a mindset of I'm more calm, but I still hate myself and could go back to that angry state if ANY thing at all bugs me. Tuesday was no better, as I believed I have failed my Piano and Geometry final. Piano final had questions on the minor scale and the do-fa-sol chart, both in which I did not realize would be on the test. I think I did well on my Spanish II final, which made me felt a bit happy at the end of the day. Wednesday I had English, P.E and United States History. For the English final, I think I did good, but did terrible on the two essays. I know I completely failed the P.E final, which was a written exam of true/false questions about volleyball and basketball. Again, I moped like a moron about the test, the fact that I chose not to study the term as well as I should have because I thought the questions would be easy enough only added to my inner-sadness/rage at the time. I know I aced my United States History exam, in fact I believe I only missed two or three questions. Finally, Thursday was seventh and eight period, or lunch and Chemistry for me. Lunch was spent talking to my best friend and our newest friend, even going out to the Dunkin' Donuts near our school to buy donuts. I may have messed up our newest friend's order and told them to add lemon to his tea. I feel so guilty about it and the fact that my best friend brought all the food for us. It only cost in total 11 dollars and despite she said we didn't have to pay her back, I plan to pay her back. I have an elaborate plan too. The chemistry final was easy, another final I know I aced. Friday was just spending about seven hours at my sister boyfriend's mom house to get my hair done in preparation for swimming in the upcoming quarter. Yep, that's my week. Overall it was TERRIBLE
